Standard Low-Temperature Decals
Low-temperature decals are made using organic paints, which allow for the creation of unique colour effects. They are suitable for decorating all rigid substrates and can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications. These decals require only heat treatment at temperatures up to 200°C.
Decals for Sandblasting
Decals for sandblasting are a type of organic decal designed to protect the surface of glass or glaze from the effects of sandblasting. The decal is applied in the standard manner to the area to be decorated. After drying for 12–24 hours at room temperature and removing the protective lacquer layer, the surface is ready for sandblasting.
Glitter Decals
Glitter decals are a visually striking type of low-temperature decal that allows for the creation of multi-coloured, shimmering glitter effects. They are suitable for decorating all types of rigid substrates and require only heat treatment at temperatures up to 200°C.
Thermochromic and Fluorescent Decals
Thermochromic decals are thermosetting organic decals that utilise thermochromic technology – the ability of certain substances to reversibly change colour in response to temperature changes. When the decorated item reaches a specific temperature, the colour fades; when cooled, the original colour returns. These decals are applied using the standard method. After drying for several hours, the removable coating is taken off and the decal is heat-treated to achieve the required durability. The recommended heat treatment temperature is 180°C.
Luminescent Decals
Luminescent decals are a type of low-temperature effect decal that utilise the phenomenon of photoluminescence. These include both glow-in-the-dark decals and those that are visible only under UV light. The decal is applied using the standard method. After drying for several hours, the removable coating is taken off and the decal is heat-treated to achieve the required resistance.
